Jorge Bermudez is a Nicaraguan percussionist and musician. His journey began in Nicaragua and led him to the vibrant San Francisco music scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s. At the age of 17, Jorge made his debut as a percussionist on Jorge Santana's Latin rock group, "Malo's" iconic album "Dos," collaborating with Cuban conga player Francisco Aguabella on the track "Oye Mama."

Jorge has toured and recorded with a diverse array of artists including Jose Feliciano, Jeffrey Osbourne, The Escovedo Family (including Phil and Coke Escovedo), Joe Sample, and others. Notably, Jorge also contributed to Mickey Hart's recordings and performed with Carlos Santana's band during the 1996 Olympics.

In 1986, Jorge founded "Bermudez Triangle" alongside saxophonist Cornelius Bumpus of The Doobie Brothers.

During the pandemic, Jorge channeled his life experiences into the creation of "Que Viva San Francisco," a musical endeavor paying tribute to his hometown. This EP, featuring elements of rock, dance, and instrumentals, showcased collaborations with notable musicians like Alison Lewis, Juan Perez, Chris Camozzi, and others.
