John Barnes

John Barnes was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1953. He began his career as a session musician in the early 1970s, and he quickly became one of the most in-demand keyboardists in the industry. He worked with many famous artists, including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, and Julio Iglesias. He was also the musical director for The Miracles.

Barnes died in March 2022 at the age of 68.
