Alan St. Jon

🇺🇸 New York, NY
  • Born
New Yorker, Alan St. Jon was born in Greenwich Village. His Italian and Indonesian heritage have influenced his writing greatly. His fondness for exotic rhythms and spirituality can also be heard throughout his work.

By the age of four, Alan showed an interest in the piano. It would serve as a catalyst to a long career in music. By age 19 he had joined a national tour with a then unknown singer named Michael Bolton in a band called Black Jack. At the tour's end he found himself back in New York. While there Alan met major label recording artist, Billy Squier. For the next 32 plus years, Alan would go on to contribute his keyboard and vocal talents on all of Squier's albums and world tours.

During that time Alan had the opportunity to tour and/or record with at least 30 other artists, which included Phoebe Snow, Alice Cooper, Cher, Iggy Pop, Foreigner, John Entwistle (WHO bassist), Paul Young, Ted Nugent, Ronnie Spector, Twisted Sister, and the list goes on.

With all this under his belt, Alan felt there was something still missing, and that was to write and perform as a solo artist. Alan then solicited the some of his close friends and artists to appear on his debut CD entitled "SKY DADDY" followed by "SOUTH BOUND".
